Aurela is singing some songs from Vlora where she is from. The Albanian Heritage Day was once more attended by thousands of Albanians from the New York and Tri-State Area on June 10th 2007. Thousands of Albanians came to Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, Westchester County in New York. People from all ages with their families and friends attended this great festival, celebrating the Albanian identity. A crowd from all regions where albanians come from in the Balkans. Many enjoyed playing soccer,volleyball and other recreational sports. The traditional group from Rugova danced the ancient Illyrian Dance of the Swords. Bashkimi Kombetar and the Youth Dance Group Rozafati also performed.Gezim Nika and others. This was a great day for all Albanians here to celebrate their culture. There is no reason why we should not have more people every upcoming year.
