Vera Meyer plays the Glass Armonica (aka Harmonica) in Harvard Square, Boston, July, 2005. The instrument, an invention of Benjamin Franklin, was quickly banned after its inception. It was said to provoke insanity. The unique harmonics have also been said to import theraputic powers. It is also known as the "Glass Armonica".
