i wouldnt go best. hes not even on edwin moses level, not even on mark spitz or micheal phelps level. Carl lewis did it for longer. I can name some females who would i call a better athlete. To be the greatest athlete you have to do something for a long period of time. A onetime, one year performance while others have string of records isnt close. Get a almanac, and dont be a prisoner of the moment. The only thing he is, is the best sprinter ever. thats it.

Well, first off, ahletes are compared all the time. And records are too. Mike and Mike do that all the time on espn and so does skip bayless and others, so book it, its going to happen. Now with that said usain bolts performance was the greatest thing in the olympics. And this was the greatest year in sports anybody has ever seen. More exciting to watch than micheal phelps. But best athlete is pushing it people. Like i said edwin moses did it for longer, 10 years.
