| I double checked, and this game takes place in 2014, in a different Middle East country, and they invaded due to a rebel faction taking over the country. The country was previously the US's ally, but once the Prime Minister and government was assassinated, they had to go in to prevent the nuclear country from falling to the rebels. The game also takes place in Russia. Whether I agree with the Iraq war or not makes no difference to this game, which is still a fun and rich experience for any fan. |
