Μερικές φορές μωρό ooh ooh . . . [ -Ρεφρέν ] ---------------------------------------- EDITORS NOTE: This year's participations were quite fine and the show was enjoyable for the most part (although the 'wow' or the 'surprise factor' was missing). Some songs which deserved
a place AT LEAST in 'top 10', were left somewhere at the bottom of the standings. And this year's winner, Russia's 'Believe', was a good contribution, but CERTAINLY not worthy of the first place. Conspiracy theories are MANY, but the biggest-one is that almost half of the 272 points of the Russian
contribution came from former Soviet Union countries, or from countries that are being supported by Russia (one way or another). All I have to say is that this is NOT a diplomatic show! And if this tragic phenomenon doesn't stop, this show is going to loose MANY of its fans and finally turn into 'E
astern-European Song Contest' or 'Russian-Union Song Contest' and make the rest of us to start watching shows like 'African Song Contest' or 'Middle-East Song Contest'. PS. I heard one mentioning that Russia received '12 points' from many northern
western countries because of the
figure-skater and because these countries are so much into
these sports. That's a bunch of crap, because Russia received
'0 points' from Scandinavian and northern-european countries
(such as Germany), that are very well into this kind of
sports...
