Even though i have watched all seasons of HSP and seen the bigger pots, this hand is still my favourite of all of them!!..I love the 2 players and the way the cards come which makes it awesome!! The table talk imo between all the different players (even though its about props) and the random players that just turn up to visit makes the season 1+2 more of a relaxed environment compared to season 3+4

Daniel is a great player, that is plainly proven, but i really think that was bad. It seemed to me on the turn and the river that Daniel may be suspicious of this hand although of course he was strong, he may have been acting but I dont think so. If so he should have checked the river too perhaps, or atleast perhaps folded to Gus's re-raise. Like Daniel said 55, 99, even 88 all beat him, and what doesn't beat him except one amazingly dangerous crazy big bluff ? Nothing.

i think that maby daniel should have reraised on the turn, to get a read off of gus's hand. because i agree with most people here, gus could have bet the flop and turn with anything. if daniel reraises on turn hes basically saying to gus "i have a full house". and if gus wants to re-re raise or make more money on the river then daniel can only conclude that maby his smaller weak house is beaten. i know its easier said than done, what do u guys think?
