Video Description:
This video is of my friend's Supercharged 375hp Volkswagen R32 on trackday. This was not a race, those who have driven on the track know what I am talking about. There are strict rules that every driver must follow. Slower cars must allow faster drivers to pass, passing is only allowed in the straights and the car being passed must wave the faster driver by. The video doesnt do justice for the speeds both cars reached, on the straights we were doing 130mph. Retarded comments will be removed and it's originator blocked. Let's keep the discussion mature...:)

Jesus, some of you people are STUPID. Does anyone actually race on a track? Shit. Of course THIS R32 is not going to be THIS Lambo. It has less then 400 crank HP. This video is NOT about beating a Lambo on the track. It's about driving skill and having fun. BUT, if you think for ONE SECOND, that there arent a ton of R32's out there that can not beat these type of supercars, you are WRONG. You need to do your research.

Also, as some said, but I will say it again, this kit is NOT a turbo kit. It is NOT an HPA/HGP kit. It IS a VF Engineering SUPERCHARGER kit. Totally two different things. The R32 is a phenomenal car. It performs wonderfully in so many ways. But it is what it is... a Volkswagen. A great Volkswagen and when modded has unlimited potential. The possibilities are endless for this car and it's been proven by just about every major tuner out there. It has it's ups and downs just like an EVO, STI, etc

The R32 has proven to be a very capable track car when STOCK. It's a Hot Hatch. It's not a Sports Car. (Do any of you really know what the technical term for "sports car" is?). It is not a Supercar. BUT when modded PROPERLY, it can be made to keep and surpass these "Supercars" AND has done it. Also, just because the Lambo has more POWER, it doesnt mean anything on a track. An awesome driver in a 115hp MIATA could whoop a Lambo with non-competent Lambo Driver. This IS fact.

the differences between a lambo and a VW is the lambo looks good a VW looks terrible eg. the bugatti veyron ugly as fuck a lambo has around 400+ hp stock a VW has terrible hp. i hate supercars but yuur trying to say a VW is better

A900 is 110% correct. Both the original 2004 MKIV R32 6 speed and the 2007+ MKV R32,(ALL US Spec MKV R32's were non-manual transmissions and came with only the DSG trans.) They were also heavier and a lot less RAW then the MKIV R32. I would take a 2007/2008 MKV R32 in White as a Daily Driver. VOUCHED!

Oh, also, the MKIV R32 is a 3.2L 24V VR6. 6 speed manual. All Wheel Drive. Konig Leather Racing Seats, though you could have gotten cloth Konigs. 250hp stock and while not as much HP as an EVO or an STI of the same year, the R32's N/A power is very linear and pulls like a freight train in every gear. The reason why the R32's 1/4 time isnt as good as it should be is because of the super short 1st and 2nd gears. You need to shift into 3rd right at the end of the 1/4... to be continued...

You lose ABOUT 1 second in the 1/4 mile due to the shift into the 3rd. But it doesn't really matter. The R32 was NOT made for Drag Racing. In stock form, the R32 was made to be a Luxurious Grand Touring "Hot Hatch". Also, the motor is shared in several different VW/Audi/Porsche vehicles: R32, Audi TT, Porsche Cayenne. The 3.2L responds very well to Forced Induction and even though the VR6 is suited more towards supercharging purposes, most people turbo the R32 and make amazing power...

The fastest 1/4 mile 04 R32 is somewhere in the 10 sec range, followed by a multitude of 11 sec cars. The fastest N/A R32 is running low 12's the last time time I checked and it really didnt take much work or money to get there. The R is very UNDERrated due to the fact that it's a little heavy and the power curve is so LINEAR. BUT in reality, the car pulls like a train and is a very competant track car with the proper tires and is a highway monster, only limited by the stock speed governor.

My last post and then I have to run: Put in a 93 Octane GIAC chip and it removes the limiters along with adding a nice amount of HP and TQ. CAMS give a very nice amount of HP/TQ along with freeing up airflow. The stock intake is good but is still very restrictive. One of our FREE mods is the flapper mod and that gives about 10hp/12tq. Look up HPA, C2, EIP, VF-Engineering, etc. You will find a lot of great R32 videos. Have a great day guys! I will be back tomorrow! Have a great weekend!

Put the Big Lambo and run rings around it with a smaller, lighter car on a short circuit. Congrats is in order. It really takes a magician to figure this one out. BIG car, lots of power, heavy against small, nimble car around tight corners and short straights. See the long straight? See the Lambo get smaller?
