Thanks for posting these Egypt clips! I love this slower tempo Iko! It's fun to compare to the MSG Iko here on youtube. That one is the EXPLOSION Iko we all know and love. But this one is just smooth and funky! Sweet!

I remember at Jerry's memorial at Golden Gate Park, after the speaches were made Iko was the first song they piped into the sound board and the entire field burst into tears and the Deadheads rocked out like never before. I still miss you Jerry!

You mean this was actually written by the Grateful Dead? Wow, I never knew that! But, I have to admit, the Belle Stars added Real dancing Twist to this song.
1978, that was 10 years before the Belle Stars did this song to the movie "Rain Man". Jerry Garcia is still Awesome!

This wasn't written by the Dead. The Dixie Cups had one of the more popular versions in the mid 60's. As per wikipedia, the song was written in 1954 by James "sugar boy" crawford.
