The life of Albert Einstein - part 1

Uploaded by: hellgas0
Video Description:
He is best known for his theory of relativity and specifically mass-energy equivalence, E = mc2. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect."
Einstein's many contributions to physics include his special theory of relativity, which reconciled mechanics with electromagnetism, and his general theory of relativity, which extended the principle of relativity to non-uniform motion, creating a new theory of gravitation. His other contributions
include relativistic cosmology, capillary action, critical opalescence, classical problems of statistical mechanics and their application to quantum theory, an explanation of the Brownian movement of molecules, atomic transition probabilities, the quantum theory of a monatomic gas, thermal properti
es of light with low radiation density (which laid the foundation for the photon theory), a theory of radiation including stimulated emission, the conception of a unified field theory, and the geometrization of physics. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/horizon/einstein_symphony_prog_summa

Everybody thinks that Albert Einstein's IQ was very high, but this is deffinitly not the case, his adult IQ was just above 160. He was deffinitly a genius, but this was not primarily due to his IQ, but his amazing level on transcendental thinking.
So Einstein had a ... ( 1 month ago by ISP420ISP)
So Einstein had a lot of brainpower but his brainspeed compared to brainpower was low.

i really want to say something regarding with this huge controversy of IQ. Intelligent Quotient or IQ is something you can built, like how your body muscle develop, so it is not something you are born with. The reason you call someone smart maybe because they do things slowly, carefully, and persistently, like Einstein.

you are correct. IQ tests, however, are incorrectly dubbed Intelligence Quotient. When, it should be Information Retention or IR. An encyclopedia would be a source of a very high IQ... then as you have noted;the substance is relative. If it were a problem solving test vs. information the outcome would vary extensively.
peace.
