The violence that erupted after Kenya's election left over a thousand dead and hundreds of thousands more homeless. Much of it appeared pre-mediated. Can a peace accord now last?
"The ODM dealers planned and executed ethnic cleansing", states government spokesman Alfred Mutua. "Those people are just as bad as Milosevic". In response, opposition leader Raila Odinga predicts "only doom for this country", if President Kibaki continues to rely on the hardliners around him.

Bollocks. It's their land, it's their lives and it's their choices. A company is nothing but a legal person that can be abolished at a whim. I live with a simple philosophy called objectivism. Man is the goal of his own life. He is supreme in his own choices. I can't live by blaming others for my misfortune. Right now, blaming the "West" for all the ills of the Black Africa is purely pointless. It's only positive actions made by those who live there that will change their life and prosperity.

If you followed the crisis in Kenya, you would have noticed that it's an INTERNAL crisis. Black people against Black people. I don't see how Europeans buying coffee in Kenya could be responsible for that mess. Of course, if the only thing you want to achieve is to blame the nearest "Whitey", you are in the good path...

We don't need to go far to find alliances between europeans and natives. In North-America, during the colonial times, it was common to take natives allies. This being said, racism and tribalism are not something new on the African continent. Blaming the current conflicts in Rwanda, Somalia, Congo and Kenya over a colonial rule that vanished half a century ago is stretchy at best.

The reason why this is happening has nothing to do with colonialism. I believe that the reason the two sides wants power is because when you are in power,any money that is given to Africa by the white people will go straight to the hand of the tribes in power. what africa is fighting for is not democracy or peace, but the left over that is thrown to Africa by the whites. Africa has everything except for creative and inovative minds.

Is there anyone in the US capable of offering strategically planning method to reduce the increase retaliation throughout Africa? There must be universities from the US with sufficient problem solving schemes and small access US government funds to start to help the process. Cannot believe so much pain spreaded withing so many political parties. Considering 600 billion dollars spent during current US war, what would be today investing 1 billion dollar to the Africa's country?

Hail the United Kingoms of Africa. Only a United States of Africa based on african pre-colonial borders can avoid such tragedies. Kenyan people are peaceful people but in a matter of few hours people have turned to each other because of political rivalry. Nigeria yesterday, Ivory Coast, Congo, Rwanda, Kenya now. It's just the beginning until we get united into a federal state respecting the self-determination of every single tribe. Even if we end up having a federal state of 1000 kingdoms!!!

In the good days of the 1950's, Kenya was a peaceful,prosperous country. Granted, there was the communist inspired Mau Mau troubles, but we took care of them with bullets and rope, and cleansed the Aberdares and the Highlands of them. Then Great Britain granted Kenya "Ururuh" Freedom as a British Colony, and they were free for self determination, and now you can see how the black man governs. Kwaheri Kenya!
