I think people feel that they're supposed to pretend that babies don't have penises, or at least that they can't see it, even though it's as plain as the nose on his face. :) Why else is it ok to say "cute baby" but not "nice penis" or "cute penis"? Because babies don't have penises, silly! (But who are really the silly ones? ;) )
