Actually, that doesn't surprise me much. Sometimes the players who break down the most barriers are those who were never aware of the "rules" in the first place. Case in point: Eddie Van halen, Jimi Hendrix. This guy stands apart from the rest in his genre the way that those guys did among their peers.

What do you mean? Of course he's a professional. He records and sells his songs. It's what he does. It's his proffession. Hence the term "Professional". He's not just some kid on youtube who's good at guitar, he records and does concerts.

amateur- a person who engages in a study, sport, or other activity for pleasure rather than for financial benefit or professional reasons. professional- following an occupation as a means of livelihood or for gain by pure definition, since Andy sells cd's online, he is a professional, i hope that clears up everything.
