Sad but there will ... ( 1 day ago by Dorisequador)
Sad but there will never be a time machine that we can travel threw.
But we can probably see time threw a time machine and record exact history.
But unfortunatly we are mortal and time ages us and we cannot change this.
Traveling threw time could also mean speed but not alter it.
This man has a dream but theory and reality are two different things.
You cannot go back to yourself for you are reality and flesh and bone, you cannot be in two places at once it is impossible.

A sub-atomic ... ( 1 day ago by maniachris)
A sub-atomic particle can exist in two places at the same time, in fact it exists in all places at once. When we observe the particle it is only then that it has a position.
I'm not sure this is totally correct but according to quantum physics our reality is only a result of our observations, and we often observe the most probable result.
Anyway if you read more into quantum physics you might start to believe your idea is wrong.
your body is mortal ... ( 1 day ago by SilentBud420)
your body is mortal, but you are not your body, you are consiousness, matter (your brain) dosent exist without a consious observer..we are all one consiousness expirenceing itself subjectivly, there is no such thing as death..life is a dream. we are everything that exists. the brain dosetn create consiousness, consiousness creates the brain to expirence itself

that actually got ... ( 1 day ago by thoseofmiddlearth)
that actually got me thinking. I never thought about that before. It would kind of be like souls right? a form of consciousness that inhabits the brain which inhabits your body. Kind of like a cell that inhabits a cell which inhabits a cell and vise versa. See this is the kind of thinking that ignites philosophy into reality. Thanks so much for that!
Reverse engineering ... ( 1 day ago by zarathoustramp)
Reverse engineering! You'r crazy, ololol,All you have is now but one must build his own spirituality like a house or his own forest if you prefer, for leaving in this moment, otherwise, chaos
anarchy set in and crush you cose you are wide open to the worst element of nature, human,Sadely we are not naked anymore but we been naked for longer that we been dress...I like to remind me of this time to time :-)
you could send ... ( 1 day ago by addmoreice)
you could send particles back in time. we could receive messages from the future. thats more useful then anything you can imagine. send a message of tech 10 years in the future? built the tech from ten years to now, repeat.
the current theory ... ( 23 hours ago by chowweekly)
the current theory is deja vu is just when the left and right side of your brain perceive something at slightly different times making you think you've seen/thought of something that you already saw/thought of.

this is such bs. a ... ( 18 hours ago by eudolph)
this is such bs. a time machine is something you go inside of, press a time button to whatever time you want, and then it drives there. that is the real deal. 0.0

Galaxies are moving ... ( 13 hours ago by onilef65)
Galaxies are moving away from each other at enormous speed.(expanding universe) The farthest known quasar is accelerating at 1.8 the speed of light.(redshift). If travelling at light speed will make time travel, then those quasars already have time travelled.
actually that is ... ( 11 hours ago by pacal007)
actually that is not true, matter cant remain intact traveling at lightspeed. these galaxies, quasars, etc. are not traveling, the space between us and them is expanding at that speed ;) yeah, that's the way i think. so, those quasars are probably just travelling at an normal speed, plus the speed of the expanding universe, that's why they re so fast. and the speed in which the universe expands its growing...

wat if we put a marble in that cup of cofee it'll sink and the cofee won't spin it so this is some bull fuking shit!!
If by 1.8 the speed ... ( 10 hours ago by GreenFury1976)
If by 1.8 the speed of light you mean 1.8X, you are sadly mistaken my friend. Quasars are only seen in very distant regions, they are thought to be the birth of galaxies therefore occured a very long time ago, anything moving away from us faster than light at these huge distances we would not be able to see because its light will never reach us. also from your Quasars perspective it is us moving away fom it, at "1.8 the speed of light" does this mean we "have time travel"?
lol, the coffee cup ... ( 8 hours ago by Jamex07)
lol, the coffee cup is an analogy. Besides, its likely that if you put a marble into a machine like this it would also probably break it!!
What happens to ... ( 8 hours ago by Jamex07)
What happens to causality if something like this is proven? If you were to send a particle back in time and receive it at an earlier point, is it not possible to receive a particle package was going to be sent, and then prevent yourself from sending it in the future given the knowledge that it was already sent? Would this prove the existence of multiple time lines and/or realities?
BUt wouldnt time ... ( 6 hours ago by devilzwishbone)
BUt wouldnt time travel its self create the end of the world?
If you say traveled back 1 day. (24hrs) You would go back 24hrs, when you get to the 23hr 59mins 59 sec the next second would rewind you back to 1 day again since you time travelled, because time travel would also affect every one else you would in effect create a scratched CD effect constantly go
ing back over and over again without escaping the loop
Wouldn't the ... ( 4 hours ago by ScrubsFreak08)
Wouldn't the machine only send you back- considering the machine in the video sends only the one particle back
