Yes, that's right. The laughter is irritating. There's one woman in the audience who has a really annoying laugh. But don't forget this is from the 1970s, an era when TV audiences just seemed to laugh at anything.

I actually just say that episode last week. It floored me. John Cleese has a way of comporting himself that can't be duplicated by anyone in the comedy biz. Truly admirable.
