The first time I heard this song on the radio, the lyrics/melody
the singer's voice touched me so much even though the lyrics did not relate to me (not giving heartaches to my parents when I was growing up). But I was fully aware that this was reality to many families all over the world.

I've always loved this song, in any language, for the beautiful melody and Freddie's amazing voice, but I had no idea the original lyrics held a meaning so much richer than the English version I had heard. Thank you so much for posting this. You made me love it even more.

yeah, there are many versions in different langauges.. most of them simple, superficial translations imo. This song definitely sounds best in its original language.. I dunno any tagalog, but freddie conveys deeper emotions/meanings in every word when he sings it from the heart - ie: in his mother's tongue.
