Liquid nitrogen is an extremely cold substance and can give u frostbite nearly imediatly if u touch the source. but since she is not touching the source, she will be fine and it is perfectly safe to swim in

its the nitrogen that's evaporating because its being warmed up by the water i.e. nitrogen vapour

It's just like the same thing with Dry Ice, you put it in hot water, the water turns into water vapour. Sure, some of it is the liquid nitrogen, but the smoke is wate vapour.
