It didn't ruin it. Just kind of changed to what the song meant to them. I mean the song doens't have to be about a girls boyfriend dieing in a car accident, its just about losing someone you love. And there's sooo many ways you can lose the person you love. Weather its just by a break up or by actual death. Either way still a sad ordeal.

I didn't mean that the meaning was just about the girls boyfriend dying. I meant the fact that in the song doesn't seem to portray the pain and hurt that the song is about. I like the beat and all, but it just isn't as good as the original. I also think that blowing the guy off at the end was a little confusing since she was singing about missing him and being in love with him and doing things over.
